Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
– Receive and log equipment using the Goods-In Log, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
– Book in purchase orders and rental returns (GRNs) via the computer-based stock management system.
– Pick and allocate equipment for rental orders as per order schedules and stock availability.
– Update system records and inform Sales of shortages, damages, or delays.
– Coordinate with Engineering to ensure correct allocation of AV and server equipment.
– Label and move equipment for processing and bin-locate items via laser scanning.
– Consolidate shelf stock and maintain organised storage areas.
– Conduct rolling inventory checks and report discrepancies.
– Support safe loading/unloading of vehicles in accordance with manual handling policies.
– Recycle packaging materials and maintain a clean warehouse environment.
– Comply with Health and Safety procedures and support ISO-related activities.
– Assist with warehouse or operational tasks as directed by management.

Competence Requirements
Experience & Technical Knowledge
– Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
– Familiarity with computer-based stock management systems.
– Knowledge of stock control processes and GRN booking.
– Microsoft Outlook and basic IT systems experience.
– Articulated Forklift licence (advantageous).

Authorities
– Authorised to update stock systems, label, move and bin-locate assets.
– Raise discrepancies or hazards to the Warehouse Manager.
– Report system or operational issues to Sales or Engineering as needed.

ISO System Support Responsibilities
– Follow documented warehouse procedures for receiving, booking, and bin-locating assets (ISO 9001).
– Observe safe manual handling and hazard awareness (ISO 45001).
– Reduce packaging waste and maintain recycling areas (ISO 14001).
– Support internal audits and provide documentation when requested.
